When Push Comes to Shove


Linedy Genao (Jessie) is originally from Brooklyn, NY. She began singing at age 4 in her local church and her love of musical theater began to grow when she entered Hamden High School. Here she received many academic and musical awards and praise. She has been in many of the productions of the Hamden Mainstage Ensemble including Smitty (How to Succeed...), The Witch (Into the Woods), Lola (Damn Yankees) Irene Molloy (Hello Dolly!) and Esther (To Gillian on her 37th Birthday).  Linedy was recently seen as Jessie in the Hamden Arts Council’s workshop production of When Push comes to Shove by Rachel Bloom and Michael Maricondi. Linedy studies voice lessons at the Sellati Studio under the tutelage of Robin Sellati and is entering her sophomore year at the University of Connecticut.  She hopes that her talent and education will lead her to the right path and maybe one day to the Broadway stage. With the support of her family and friends, she knows that anything is possible.

 




Chris D’Amato (New Kid) is thrilled to be involved with Trust Your Gut Productions.  Some children’s theatre credits include; The Adventures of Peter Rabbit, The Elves and the Shoemaker, Foxtail, and The Sneaklings.  Other favorite roles include; A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Bottom), The Secret Garden (Archibald), and The Man Who Came to Dinner (Sheridan Whiteside).  Big thanks to Mike, Rachel and Carol and, of course, Lovely Lily.

 


Lily Goodman (Danii) is thrilled to be a part of this fabulous cast!  She is a recent graduate of Hofstra University with a BFA in Theatre Performance and is now living in New York City.  Favorite Roles include Mae (Reefer Madness), Caliban (The Tempest), Nurse (Romeo & Juliet), and The Baker’s Wife (Into the Woods).  Thanks to Mikey and Rachel for giving her this wonderful opportunity!  To see more of Lily, you can visit her website; www.lilygoodman.net

 


Josh Ramos (Miss Finkelstein/Miss Pickelbergher)  Off-Broadway/NYC:  Chautauqua! (Public Theatre); World-Premiere reading of Ryan Scott Oliver’s Darling (Pace New Musicals); Click, Clack, Moo: Cows That Type (Manhattan Children’s Theater); Sing Out, Louise! (Upright Citizens Brigade Theater).  Other credits include: The Waypoint (MASS MoCA, world-premiere); All Shook Up (dir. Donna Drake); The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (dir. Mark Sanderlin (Male Swing)  Hofstra University, B.S. Music Business.  Regional Theater:  Oliver!, Peter Pan, 42nd Street, Twelfth Night (Gallery Players); Carmen, La Boheme (Portland Opera); Pecos Bill, Peter Pan (Northwest Children’s Theater).  New York concert appearances with South Shore Syncopators, Long Island Baroque Ensemble and solo dates at The National Underground, Caffe Vivaldi, Waltz-Astoria and Vibe Lounge.  A prolific songwriter, Mark is the composer/co-lyricist of Tangled: A New Musical by Alexandra H. Steven Spera (Jared) is a recent graduate of the Hofstra University BFA Program for Theater Arts.  He is thrilled to be joining the cast of When Push Comes to Shove. Favorite credits include Intimate Apparel (Mr. Marks), Dog Sees God (C.B.) and Footloose (Willard).  Steven would like to thank Michael and Rachel for this excellent opportunity as well a the rest of the cast for all of their hard work.

 



Kate Mulberry (Female Swing) is a 2009 graduate from SUNY Freedonia in Musical Theatre, originally from Rochester, NY.  For the past three summers, she has been an assistant with the Rochester Broadway Theatre Leagues “Broadway-BootCamp” style summer camp, Summer Stars for middle and high school students where, this past summer, she was asked to join their team again as a master teacher.  Favorite college roles include:  Pennywise (Urinetown), Sally Bowles (Cabaret), and The Complete Works of William Shakespeare [Abridged].
